COVID-19 International Student Well-being Study

The COVID-19 International Student Well-being Study examines the impact of the COVID-19 outbreak on the student population in higher education at international level. With this study, we intend to investigate how protective measures that were implemented regarding COVID-19 by the government and/or university/college may have impacted students’ well-being and health. The multi-centre study is coordinated by the University of Antwerp and will be conducted in 26 countries. An online cross-sectional study will be conducted at the respective universities, in which different areas of student life will be addressed. Students from undergraduate and graduate study programmes are invited to participate in the study. The online survey enables students to participate in the study in a time-efficient and anonymous way. The resulting data will allow us to describe the living conditions before and during the COVID-19 outbreak as well as levels of well-being during the COVID-19 outbreak within various university student populations.
