StudiBiFra: Survey on study conditions and (mental) health of university students

The StudiBiFra project aims at examining the study and organisational conditions (resources and stressors) at German universities that may have an impact on university students’ mental health. The pre-tested Bielefelder questionnaire on study conditions will be used, accompanying by a further development of the instrument based on practical experience.
From this, sustainable and university-specific prevention and health promotion concepts can be developed. Furthermore, a university database on study conditions that allows the identification of cross-university trends and prevention approaches will be established.
In addition, models will be developed and evaluated that investigate the impact of resources as well as stressors at university level on individual students’ health.
