AUPIK - Maintenance of home care infrastructure in crisis and disasters

You are here:

The AUPIK research project aims to increase the resilience of outpatient care infrastructures and the safety of people in need of care in the event of everyday disruptions and in crisis situations, such as natural disasters, epidemics, large-scale technical disruptions or comparable critical events. On the one hand, outpatient care services and their employees are to be prepared for crisis situations and supported in a targeted manner; on the other hand, the civil protection authorities are to be sensitised to the concerns of people in need of care. Finally, it is asked how temporary centralised nursing care must be designed in order to be able to guarantee the highest level of patient safety despite everyday disruptions.
